Making connections is the central role CIED plays on behalf of the university at large.

We link government, business and university resources so Oklahomans benefit. The traditional instructional role of a major land-grant university is enhanced by the connections to the key enterprises of commerce, governance and community life.

CIED serves as a bridge between OSU and the many facets of state life. From rural community development to high-tech research, the university plays a leadership role in improving lives. CIED's community development activities, economic development programs, research activities and business support programs contribute to achieving our mission.

Navigating OSU's resources can be daunting. CIED helps Oklahomans take full advantage of the university's services in business, engineering, agriculture, veterinary medicine, education and training.
